Custom Baby, Ultrasound, Toddler, Original Oil Paintings Art, Framed 5x7 Black and White or Umber, Hand Painted by Anna Rose Bain

Celebrate your child's beautiful profile from pre-birth, to infancy, to toddlerhood! This beautiful framed triptych or quartet makes for the ultimate gift for a parent or grandparent, or to commemorate a child's birthday! Choose 3 images to have made into original, hand painted oil paintings. These are NOT prints, they are not traced or projected - they are completely original and hand painted and signed by the artist, using your photos as reference.

READ CAREFULLY
Here's how to get started:
1) Choose your 3 images; ideally they would be (1) your baby's ultrasound in profile, (2) your baby at 4-9 months, and (3) your child as a 2 or 3 year old. For 4 images, I recommend having a newborn picture in there along with the other ages.

2) Choose whether or not you want these done in black and white or umber and white.
3) Please mention in the notes whether you would like a black frame or an ivory frame.
4) Carefully select some high quality reference photos for me to work from. Either send them to me in a shared iCloud folder to 608-853-0582, or email them to me at annarosebain [!at] gmail.com.
5) I'll make a mock-up showing what I think will work best for the paintings.
6) Once you've approved the mock-up, I'll get started!
7) The paintings are each 5x7 vertical, painted on oil-primed linen mounted aluminum panels, and depending on the number of images you've chosen, please allow 4-6 weeks for me to do the paintings. They will need some time to dry before they ship. If you have an occasion you need these for, I will do my best to meet that deadline as long as I have at least a month's notice.

When choosing reference photos, please ensure that you provide high-res images that are staged in natural lighting, as well as a high-res image of the child's ultrasound in profile. Here are a few more tips for providing great reference photos:

- Try to get the profile angle as close as possible in all images. I realize this can be a challenge - but do your best! The better the photos, the better the painting results!
- Avoid flash or high contrast sunlight/dark shadows.
- There should be minimal or no distortion (examples of distortion would be things like the head looking very large compared to the arms and body, etc.).
- Avoid bold patterns/plaid/trendy clothing that could date the portrait, unless that is the specific look you are going for.
- Soft smiles or serene expression
- Multiple photo references are always encouraged so that I can get a general idea of your child's mannerisms, expressions, posture, and likeness in various lighting situations.
